117/30

A little time in the garden this morning then a ride to Oamaru and back with hubby for work. I tried to take a picture of the end of a rainbow out the car window, only partly successfully, but is does show the change in the weather arriving.

116/29

I know I have already posted a pic of  Cobaea scandens but this is its colour as it first comes out.

115/28

This little diascia  is still looking quite pretty still for late in the season

114/27

A late flower or two on Clematis Barbara Jackman.

113/26

The first very early snowdrop.

112/25

Ponds and maples together are a lovely combination.

111/24

More stunning Maples.

110/23

The maples around the pond look so bright in the sunshine.

109/22

The Rhodo's are having a season crisis.... is is spring yet?

108/21

Nerines are great for picking at this time of year.

107/20

Perennial cornflower, Centaurea montana.

106/19

A serious catch up, my photos have been sitting in the camera for most of the week. The garden in in autumn mode but there is still some colour other than leaves. The toad lily ,Tricyrtis formosana ,is looking good.

105/18

The Kaka Beak, Clianthus maximus has been one shrub I have never successfully grown. This is a clients, although I'm  not sure if it should be flowering at the moment.

104/17

This season has seen plants not quite know what they are supposed to be doing. This rhodo is one of them.

103/16

I am not a fan of dahlias, but this one in a clients garden is rather nice.

102/15

The weekend has come and gone so fast.... never mind. My Tibouchina grandiflora is looking super, hopefully no frosts for a while.

101/14

This little mini rose is a perfect example of a late season flower looking beautiful, when the plant looks terrible.

100/13

I found a flower out on my climber Cobea scandens, although it can be a problem plant in warm climates, it is kept under control here with winter frosts.

99/12

As well as autumn colours, I have hints of spring in the rockery. These are the first crocus to come out and are actually supposed to be out now, rather then spring.

98/11

My pot of tuberous begonias is looking stunning. It was given to me by a client, and I think I will divide it and do more pots next season as its lovely having colour this late in the season.

97/10

More autumn colours!

96/9

Catch up time, lots of excuses but they are all the usual, so on with pics. Autumn is in full swing and the maples in the garden are starting to look stunning.

95/8

Sunday morning we had a lovely breakfast in Queenstown and a brief walk on the lake shore before heading homeward. The Queenstown gardens look lovely with autumn colours. This sculpture is at the entrance.

94/7

Saturday was spent at the airshow and I didn't even take my camera out of my bag. I have a guest photographers shot of one of the many planes on display.

93/6

Catch up time after a great weekend at the Warbirds show at Wanaka. We stayed in Queenstown for the Friday and Saturday nights. This is the view from the apartment, well from the apartments at the front of the complex. We were in the more modestly priced ones that faced the hill, not the lake!!!

92/5

I'm babysitting at the moment, but the Granddaughter is not her self today so I am reluctant to go to far while she is asleep. Funny how is was easier when they were your children rather than grandies. This pink daisy has made a super show all summer. I really should do some more cutting for next season.

91/4

Slipped up posting yesterday, I was a bit late home from Babysitting. Still here we are, the end of the cyclamen, winter must be on its way. I had a play with editing these but I'm not sure if they are better or worse, I wish I knew what I was doing......

89/2

A very nice Monday, and I worked hard enough to be tired when I got home. It's fungi time in the garden again. Today's one is not in situ as I couldn't get the camera close enough, so I picked it and brought it home to photograph. It is very hard and was growing out of a old tree stump.
