212/31

Back on the Daffs again. The centre photo is one of about ten clumps of Jetfire that are flowering in the rockery at the moment. I can't recall a better year for flowers, they look stunning. Every day there are more new daffs out, but I am still waiting for the salmon/pink shades.

211/30

A very simple Hyacinth photo today. I have several colours flowering in the rockery, and most of them have done quite well this year.

210/29

Back on the daffs again, a new selection opening now. The weekend weather was sooooo good.

209/28

We were given tickets to the rugby last night, so had our first look at the new stadium. Most impressed, pity about the score.

208/27

A collection of the daffs that are flowering today. I am still enjoying the collage pictures as it is a great way of posting multiple pictures.

207/26

From now on  there are probably only going to be flower pics on here as spring has arrived. Every day I find more flowers out and I am trying to record as many as possible. Today's are my new addition to the rockery in the smaller photo, bought from the farmers market. The larger is one of the miniature daffs I won in a raffle two seasons ago.

206/25

A fantastic show last night, I don't know how they manage to WOW us year after year. No photos of course as you are not allowed to, but some of the Wellington shops get into the spirit of WOW with their window displays.

205/24

Wellington here I come. A view from the plane on Wed morning of the snow still on the hilltops on the way out of Dunedin. A great flight and good view all the way.

204/23

I was home early enough today to have a wander around the garden with my camera, the result is a colour coordinated collage of spring.

203/22

Still playing with my new program, The photos are either mine or Hubbys, he has a better camera and lens than I do!

202/21

A guest photographer today and  a very helpful computer instructor!!! Not perfect but OK. I have decided to add a single close up of the tui , as the montage doesnt really do the photography justice. I should cropped the photo first as the quality is so good. You really feel you could reach out and touch those beautiful blue feathers.

201/20

A nice sunset in Mosgiel tonight, a pity about the power lines though.

200/19

Wow, 200 Photos, not bad for me. I did think it would be harder to remember to take a photo every day but with a little cheating (having the odd photo in reserve) it hasn't been too bad. Today's collection is -The first vase of Daffs for the season, the first of my Rhodos flowering in the dell, Granddaughters next size singlet (that happened too fast) and another pair of woollen socks. Not too shabby for one evening!

199/18

Thursday afternoon and it stopped raining. I really should have gone to work!!! Instead I finished the cushion, not too bad considering the s..t felt and a lack of wool.

198/17

I came to the conclusion today was not fit for work again, so tripped of with hubby to pick up a motor at Hinds today. Took these from the truck window on the way home, the sea was not a pretty picture today.

197/16

It doesn't look much like a cushion cover yet, but after a poor attempt at felting yesterday I am having to be super inventive!!! I will only post the finished article if it works.

192/11

A detail on a very nice gate in a clients garden. I struggled to be inspired today, so hopefully tomorrow will be better.

191/10

This is the best of the rest of the west coast.

190/9

Today we left Westport about 7am and had breakfast in Greymouth  about an hour later. Next stop was at the lookout above the Otira Viaduct, 10seconds after stopping we were greeted by these guys. We didn't stop long!!!!!

189/8

I skived of to the West Coast to keep hubby company while he was working. We left at 1.30pm on Sun afternoon and arrived at Westport just after 9.30, I don't know how he does it ! There was a plant in a park that was covered in colour, it wasn't till I got close that I realized it was an evergreen azalea in full flower. The bush was 6ft high, wide and thick!!!

188/7

A bright spot of colour on a miserable day. Rhodo Cornubia from the upstairs window makes a lovely spot of colour, its the best it has flowered for years.

187/6

Back in the garden today with a combo of all the yellow flowers that are out at the moment.

186/5

This door is one of the many at the Dunedin Railway station. They are all very ornate when you start really looking at them. I didn't spend enough time with the photo, but the other half was already at the lights waiting for me, I probably mean waiting ON ME!!!

185/4

Pink in the garden is the order of the day. Not all great shots, but it is amazing how many flowers are out when you start looking.

184/3

I'm back playing with multi pictures. These were taken at the same time as yesterdays door.

183/2

Back on doors this time. This one appears in wedding photos from time to time and I rather like the rustic look.

182/1

A new month, they are rolling by fast. The second colour of Iris reticulata is now flowering, but next year should see yellow added to the range, as I bought an Iris danfordiae at the farmers market on Saturday.
