180/30

Still playing with my new found skills. Pop Art this time, with the new granddaughter.

179/29

After a lesson on using a programme to put more than one photo in a shot, I have just wasted an hour but finally succeeded!!! I must get better at this one day. This is a collection of helleborous from my garden.

178/28

This is  not quite a "door" photo, more like a "sign on a gate" photo.

177/27

I'm OK with the snow now its gone. I rather liked the white "cushion" on my garden seat.

176/26

The snow is not such fun now, so a photo from the weekend. I rather like this door in the courtyard wall of Olivers in Clyde. I think I might attempt a study on interesting doors and give the garden a rest. Wonder how long that will last!!!

174/24

9 days without a post!!!! Why???? Because I lost my camera for 8 of those days and only found it when I stopped looking. Had a great trip to Queenstown on the annual Topless Car Tour, but the drive home was a bit hairy. The picture was before the road got really bad and before the HILLS.....

165/15

This view looking south should have the Maungatua's in the distance but for the last two days all that has been visible is the next dirty shower of rain. The wattle is much further out than usual at this time of year and is a spot of brightness in the dull weather.

164/14

This is the first time I have had the camera at hand when a tui has been this close. The only problem was it took me far to long to turn it on and focus, so this is the only one I got. Still it was amazing being this close in person.

163/13

The first of my camellias are out, I rather like the pale pink but it tends to get weather damaged easily. Although I planted both of them (a long time ago ) I don't have a record of names unfortunately.

162/12

A miserable day so no work for me. I did manage a visit of course. Can you picture looking any more relaxed?

161/11

I was surprised to see my first miniature daffodils (Bambi) had opened while I wasn't looking.

160/10

I was a bit late round the garden yesterday, the light was fading fast, but my white hydrangea still has some nice flowers left.

159/9

The rest of my spare time this past weekend has been organizing all the photos I have on the computer plus all those of the family computer. It has been a slow painful process, but I have now got a reasonable filing system. A little tweeking still required, but I am getting there. Anyway from now on all photos will be filed properly!!!! So some more garden shots.

158/8

A catch up required, I have been distracted at little this past weekend.

156/6

At last, the granddaughter has arrived!!!! So I can now do a photo of the jacket I felted to match the hat, it is going with her present and will be delivered this afternoon. I was really happy with it as a first attempt and the gumboots were an impulse buy (I seem to have a few of those at the moment) at Bunnings. There is also a skivvy, jeans, socks... Need I go on.

155/5

Love the frost on the leaves of this Phlomis russeliana, but the plant is going to need a major clean out as it starting to run rampant!!!!

154/4

This sunset was from last night while I was waiting in the car for the other half to get back. I was trying different settings again.

153/3

We woke up to a corker frost this morning, so I took the camera with me when we went walking. The pictures aren't great but they do reflect the morning.

152/2

The are several clumps of snowflakes (leucojum) looking very pretty in the garden at the moment.

151/1

I know Rhodo Cornubia can flower early, August for example, but the 1st of July!!!!

150/30

The last day of June and the expected grandchild has not arrived yet, so is going to be a July baby instead . The last of the leaves of this maple, Acer senkaki, have not fallen either and look rather odd with all the other trees around bare.
