149/29

I rather like this macro shot of the centre of a helleborus with its delicate stamens.

148/28

The first of my bird feeding photo's This was taken from inside the kitchen, so not bad considering. The Tui's have just made an appearance today but of course my camera was not within reach!!!!

147/27

We parked at First Church to walk to the Octagon and on the way back took several photos. Mine are not great as I still have to work out how to turn the flash off. I do rather like the little bit of tree highlighted in the corner though.

146/26

I  had a lovely Sat night at the Matariki celebrations. The lanterns were amazing and as for the stilt walkers!!!!!! Then out for tea at Nellies, the food was good and the company was great.

145/25

It's amazing what you see when the leaves fall off the trees.

144/24

Rhododendron Christmas Cheer is super early everywhere this year, but a lack of lots of frosts has meant the flowers haven't been spoilt as much as usual.

143/23

Back on the fungi again. I found this neat one while raking up leaves this afternoon.

142/22

Back doing the close up photos again. This time a late scabiosa flower in a clients garden.

141/21

I really like the rain drops on this euphorbia flower. The plant is in full flower mode at the moment.

140/20

A wet miserable day yesterday, so no work for me. I managed to waste the day and really the only thing I completed was my felted cushion. Not sure if I like it, and the only other comments have been before it was finished, apart from "different" from the other half!!!!

139/19

Rather liked the colour combo of the early daf and the libertia.

138/18

Stopped on the way to the farmers market and took this photo of the polys by the railway station. They are looking good due, I'm sure, to the wonderful care of a certain gardener called Becky.

137/17

I discovered several ripe-ish looking grapefruit on my tree while weeding the rockery.

136/16

Back in my garden playing with macro on the camera. My green chrysanthemum has flowered well this season, maybe next year I will manage to stake it!!

135/15

Another awesome sunrise this morning. I tried several different settings on the camera just to see what difference it would make.

134/14

Not very good on natives, so not sure who's bark this is. Tree Fuschia perhaps.

133/13

Spent some of yesterday afternoon walking part of the track  beside the Taieri river at Outram Glen. It was lovely to see so many families out enjoying the day. My bush photos leave a little to be desired, but I kept getting left behind!!

132/12

Had a lovely time making lanterns for Matariki, very stress free this year and the company was great!

131/11

A fantastic sunset tonight.

130/10

Really happy with my latest project. I knitted, then felted, this hat and hope to do a double breasted coat to go with it. With a bit of luck it will fit the expected grandchild (referred to as Peanut at the moment) next winter.

129/9

Finished!!!! Gee-Rafe mark two. This one is off to England to my daughters sister-in-law, her baby is due about the same time as the expected grandchild. I knitted this one instead of crocheting as it was quicker and firmer, so it was easier to stuff.  He stands up much better than Gee-Rafe mark one.

128/8

My gecko however, was made by a very clever lady who knew what she was doing, and after five years of living in a water fountain he is as good as the day he was made.

127/7

My poor frog on the other hand, needs a manicure, pedicure and and eye transplant. I really should see to him this winter.

126/6

I really love this frog climbing up the pitto in a clients garden.

125/5

Had a lovely day out and about with the family, we stopped at Carey's Bay for a hot chocolate and I did manage to get my camera out this time.

124/4

Cheating again. This is from last week, it is late flowers on the oak leafed hydrangea. Today was the grandchild -to-be's baby shower, so didn't  manage any photo's even though I took my camera!!!

123/3

The libertia grasses make good winter colour with their berries and foliage.

122/2

A lovey helleborus in a clients garden.

121/1

I do like the winter colour of this ajuga, but I am not sure of it's name.

120/31

Exochorda x macrantha the Bride, another is it early or late?

119/30

Late again, a couple of busy days helping our daughter and husband to shift house. Anyway I am trying to decide whether this Corydalis Flexuosa  is very early or very late.
