87/31

While babysitting we had a photo session with the granddaughter  in the autumn leaves, the results were pretty cute.

86/30

A half day at work on Friday, then babysitting in the afternoon with my good friend Mrs K coming for coffee, a good day all round. Today's pic is white autumn crocus in a clients garden. They were hiding among other plants and looked sweet. I don't like their foliage for the rest of the year though.

85/29

I think I'm having a gardening crisis. For as long as I can remember I have disliked (barely strong enough language) bi-coloured flowers. Today's picture...... a rose in a clients garden, and I think I like it!

This is what happens when you cut delphiniums back after their first flowering. A pity it is a clients garden and not my own.

83/27

I did the edges when I got home tonight and spotted this Rudbeckia that I bought last year. I don't usually manage to keep them for a second season, so am really pleased.

82/26

Back to work on Monday even though it was Otago Anniversary day. I felt I needed to catch up after being on holiday. This pic is from one of my clients gardens and is Sternbergia lutea. I need some!!!!

81/25

Sunday was spent babysitting the granddaughter, it was fun. I did do a round of the garden and found a sunflower that I didn't even know had grown from last year seed.

80/24

Catch up again, lots of excuses, but I type to slowly. This huge puff ball had grown on our lawn while we were on holiday.

64/8

A bit early for tomorrow, but we are off for two weeks holiday in the morning, so I being organised. This rose is in a clients garden and I have rather fallen for the colour.  I don't know the name unfortunatly.

63/7

It is autumn. The mushrooms are appearing on the back lawn, with a bit of help from the rain.

62/6

I have brought home my daughters sunflower head to dry. It is impressive...... and makes mine look tiny. I meant to have a ruler in the pic but forgot, so have just measured it instead. It comes in at 40cm!! The challenge for next year is obvious.

61/5

I am so far behind I thought about calling it quits, but in the end have cheated and skipped a few days. Last week included some babysitting so the chef could do a 21st cake and more cupcakes. Yum!
